Sealable bags are formed from synthetic resin material by folding the film so that one side is longer than the other to produce a flap to the inner surface of which is applied a ribbon of pressure sensitive adhesive which is then dried before applying a strip of pressure adhering but removable tape of synthetic resinous material over the ribbon, cutting the film into lengths and sealing the film at the cuts to form the bags. The synthetic film (a) is fed from a roll to a folding plate (2) mounted on the machine frame (1), the plate (2) with the aid of rollers (4, 4a) producing the fold in the film. |
