Dry rolled otas or oat flakes are added to the dough, already loosened by the fermenting stage. - Linseed, milk, etc. can be admixed also, the bread gaining in medicinal and dietetic properties and is esp. useful in metabolic complaints, infant feeding, respiratory troubles. - The coats can be applied in a mixture with coarse wholemeal contg. germs.
