<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alumina-based sintered compact having green-based color tone sufficiently and excellent in corrosion resistance; and to provide a method for producing the same. <P>SOLUTION: The alumina-based sintered compact comprises alumina as a main component, and oxides of Ni, Zr, Pr and Si. The content of Ni is 3-10 mass% expressed in terms of NiO, the content of Zr is ≥0.1 mass% expressed in terms of ZrO<SB>2</SB>, the content of Pr is ≥0.1 mass% expressed in terms of Pr<SB>6</SB>O<SB>11</SB>, and the content of Si is ≥0.1 mass% expressed in terms of SiO<SB>2</SB>. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
