<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To grasp the quantity of inventory at not only a user side but also a supply side for a cartridge as the consumable article of an image formation apparatus, and to grasp the quantity of inventory in the configuration of the number of printable recording sheets. <P>SOLUTION: When the residual toner of a toner cartridge mounted on an image formation apparatus is turned to be near end (S1: YES), the image formation apparatus acquires information related with the quantity of inventory at a user side and information related with the quantity of inventory at a supply side (S2, S11 to S13). The image formation apparatus calculates the number of recording sheets printable by using the cartridge which is mounted by itself, calculates the number of recording sheets printable by the cartridges for the quantity of inventory at the user side and the number of recording sheets printable by the cartridges for the quantity of inventory at the supply side based on the acquired information (S3), and displays the calculation result at a display (S4). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
