<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a sericin hydrogel having excellent moldability, and to provide a method for producing a sericin porous product. <P>SOLUTION: This method for producing the sericin hydrogel comprises extracting sericin extract having a mol. wt. of ≥50 kDa from silk gland, cocoon layer or cocoon originated from silkworm, adding an alcohol to the obtained sericin extract, and leaving the mixture comprising the obtained sericin extract and the alcohol. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
