<p>The unit to control feed of components to a mixer in the preparation of multi-component plastics, particularly polyurethane, consists of a valve ring (3) which can be rotated or raised/lowered to allow the feeds (9), (10) access to the mixing chamber or to link them with return leads (8), (11). The design reduces the number of components to control the feed supply, gives a self-cleaning efect, and allows compressed air or cleaning fluid to be passed through for thorough cleaning without complete dismantling.</p> |
