Support for a building component e.g. a dormer window, is formed by a frame of supporting strips provided along its circumference with which the frame can be supported on the roof timbers. The supporting strips have carrying flanges at their edges inside the frame across their direction and extending upwards from the strips, providing support for the building component. Specifically, the support is of glass fibre reinforced polyester resin. |
