INK COMPOSITION FOR INKJET

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink composition giving an excellent recorded material having high scratch resistance and extremely little bleeding and color mixing of the ink by an inkjet recording with a water-based ink.

SOLUTION: The ink composition for inkjet at least contains a coloring agent, water and a polymer emulsion. The polymer emulsion is composed of a particulate core particle and a shell composed of a polymer compound (A) having an N-substituted (meth)acrylamide unit. The polymer compound (A) exhibits hydrophilic property in the ink composition within a temperature range below the temperature sensitive point and exhibits a hydrophobic property in a temperature range exceeding the temperature sensitive point.
