<p>A pneumatic picking motion for a weaving loom includes a linear-actuator comprising a piston movable in a cylinder under the influence of a measured change of compressed air applied thereto, the piston being connected with a picking-stick of the loom by means of a linkage. Preferably, the linkage is a compensating linkage arranged to provide uniformity of speed for the power-stroke of the piston.</p> |
