<p>1298703 Dyeing and printing fibre mixtures CIBA-GEIGY AG 23 March 1970 [24 March 1969] 13956/70 Heading D1B Fibre mixtures comprising fibre having affinity for cationic dye and fibre having affinity for anionic dye are dyed or printed by impregnating or printing at temperatures below the absorption temperatures of the dyes with optionally thickened solutions containing at least one cationic and at least one anionic dye at pH 3 to 7 in presence of at least 0.5 g/l of a sulphated or sulphonated compound and at least 0.5 g/l of an amide of an aliphatic monocarboxylic acid of 8 to 20 carbon atoms (or mixture of these acids) with primary or secondary amines having at least one lower C 1-5 hydroxyalkyl group and/or the condensation product of such an acid or mixture of acids with I to 3 equivalents of a di- and/or tri-alkanolamine, the dyeing or printing being fixed by a moist heat treatment. Basic dyes, acid, reactive and substantive dyes are specified, fibre mixtures which may be in carpet form include polyacrylonitrile/cellulose, polyacrylonitrile/polyamide and polyamide/polyamide fibre mixtures.</p> |
