<p>1446738 Doors FERMOD 15 Nov 1973 [29 Nov 1972] 53102/73 Heading E1J A suspension device for a sliding door which has a transverse closing movement, comprises a guide rail 2 with a ramp or recess 8, a door support 10 carrying an element 11 running on the rail 2, an arm 13 which has one end cooperating with a guide 5 and the other end pivoted to the support 10. The door slides to its closed position and then rollers 11 enter recesses 8 in rail 2 and roller 14 pivots on guide 5 and the other end of arm 13 pivots on pin 12, seal B engaging the wall. In Fig. 4 (not shown) guide 5 is replaced by a cylindrical bar (23) and a ball bearing (28) is interposed between the arm and bar. Beveled rollers (15) on the floor guide the bottom of the door.
