The gas heated boiler for fairly low capacity has a horizontal cylindrical shell made in two halves divided along the vertical centre line, with one inner wall (2) separated from an outer wall (4) by U-section longitudinal spacers. Between the inner wall and the burner chamber (17) is a water circulation space which communicates with an end space (16) between the domed end (15') of the burner chamber and the end of the water chamber. There is also another space (7) at the other end for water circulation. This surrounds a space (9) for circulation of combustion gases with one end closed by a flanged ring (8) which fits against the flange (12) around the end of the combustion chamber (17).
