PURPOSE:To make a partial change for shrinking forms and to obtain easily a thermally shrinkable molded body of special form by coating part of a thermally shrinkable molded part with cross-linking agent or cross-linking assistant accelerator to conduct a repeated cross-linking treatment and then to give a thermal shrinkage. CONSTITUTION:Part of a thermally shrinkable molded part which is not desired to be shrunk is coated with cross-linking accelerator and heated or coated with electronic ray cross-linking assistant agent to conduct a repeated cross-linking treatment by use of reirradiation of electronic beams or the like. In this method the coated part does not shrink or hardly shrinks even after heated and a thermally shrinkable part of special form can be obtained. Besides, it is preferable that the part coated with cross-linking agent, cross-linking assistant accelerator is wound by rubber, plastic tape, etc. under pressure and then cross-linked. Dicumaric peroxide for the cross-linking agent, triaryl isocyanolate for the electronic cross-linking assistant etc. are used. |
