PURPOSE:To simplify the constitution of a display device for a set vehicle speed by displaying a constant driving speed and a warning vehicle speed on the single display device by selecting vehicle speed display while exercising inhibing control over a warning part during the selection of constant-speed drive. CONSTITUTION:When constant-speed drive is started by operating an A/D preset switch 26, an A/D actuator 20 is controlled through an A/D cotrolled 30 to attain the constant-speed driving operation. At the same time, a warning device 18 informing that the driving speed is higher than a warning vehicle speed is inhibited from operating by the controller 28 of the control part 14 of a set- vehicle-speed display device 10 through the controller 30, and the selection of the vehicle speed by a vehicle speed setter 24 is changed from the set warning vehicle speed over to a set constant vehicle speed, thereby displaying this vehicle speed on a display device 16. Therefore, the warning vehicle speed and set vehicle speed are displayed on the single display part according to the selection, thus simplifying the constitution of the display device 10. |
