<p>PURPOSE:Water sinking filter bed tank of low cost and high performance can be made by dividing a tower inside into a rectangular tank and using the inside as a filter bed tank and the bow-shaped part outside the rectangle for aeration and discharge of treated water. CONSTITUTION:Waste water is introduced from waste water supply pipe 8 to waste water introductory part 4 and after mixed and diluted by circulating water 13, it flows into filler section 2 in either square or rectangle which is inscribed in cylinder 1. On the other hand, circulating water 13, which is supplied air by air supply pipe 7 in two aeration sections 31 and 32 of the bow-shaped parts outside the rectangle, is also flowed into filler section 2 by the operation of an air lifting pump. Treated water 14 purified by microorganism appositional on the fillers in filler section 2 reaches bottom 10, enters into treated water discharger 5 and after separated into solid and liquid by natural sedimentation, it overflows out of treated water discharging pipe 9.</p> |
