PURPOSE:To facilitate operations to draw out and roll in a code by providing a code reel with a stopper to be elastically fitted to an angle-shaped projection for preventing the loosening of the code caused by a careless rotation of the code reel. CONSTITUTION:An apparatus, for example, an iron is provided with an iron base 1 with a heater and a rotatable code reel 4 to wind up a code 5 connected to a heater circuit. This code reel 4 is rotated by a winding-up knob 4a, and held on a shaft part 6a of a reel cover 6. At this stage, the code reel 4 is equipped with a stopper 8 with catching pieces 8a and 8b on upper and lower ends. By a stopper spring 9 fixed on a spring-fixing part 6b of the reel cover 6, the stopper piece 8b is fitted to an angle-shaped projection 4b provided continuously along the inner circumference round the shaft part of the code reel 4 for restraining the careless rotation of the code reel 4 during the use of the iron. |
