摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To continuously reduce combustion vibration and noise all the time without being affected by the presence of correction. <P>SOLUTION: In this fuel injection control method for an engine, injection rate waveform of fuel injected from a fuel injection device is controlled. As for a plurality of parameters determining the fuel injection rate waveform, effects on initial heat generation rate waveform having a relationship with combustion noise or an exhaust gas purification rate are stored beforehand.
