A map of a country is divided into geographic areas where the areas are grouped together and coloured by a particular colour. The areas are numbered and the map is displayed on a panel mounted above a desk housing a keyboard for operation by a player. The mode of play for various programs is selected from the keyboard. Switch contacts corresponding to a particular area number are operated by the keys and are connected to a comparator circuit for comparison with a random number generated electronically. Lamps on the map panel indicate the comparison was valid and that a group of areas has been completed. A money dispenser is controlled by an electromagnetic assembly to dispense coins if the map is completed successfully.
