<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vent cap capable of taking in outside air while removing dirt mixed in the outside air without using a filter or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The vent cap comprises a bottomless vent cap body 2 which has a mounting side base 3 having a vent hole 301 formed near an approximately central portion, a front side base 5 continuously provided on the mounting side base 3 via a side wall portion 4, and an exhaust port 401 formed near the lower end of the side wall portion 4, a shield plate 6 arranged in the vent cap body 2 to form an approximately spiral vent circuit 7 in the vent cap body 2 and communicated at its selective position in the vent circuit 7 with the exhaust port 401 to form an exhaust circuit 8, and having both longitudinal ends continuously provided on the mounting side base 3 and on the front side base 5, respectively, and an approximately cylindrical vent part 9 continuously provided on the mounting side base 3 so as to form a cavity 10 between the vent hole 301 and the front side base 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
