The subject matter of the invention is a procedure of purification of pharmacollogically active proteins, through the use of cationic exchange chromatography on the solid carrier done on the primary pH, i.e. higher, in relation to pH appropriate to the electric point, pI protein that are purified, pH whereon the mentioned proteins although residual yet get absorbed. The solvents of buffer with pH and ionic strength adjusted from time to time to the type of pharmacologically active proteins that are purified are used for preparation of such results. The procedure mainly relates to purification of interferon and albumins.
