PROCESSING CIRCUIT OF COLOR VIDEO SIGNAL

PURPOSE:To prevent deterioration in resolution and picture quality due to a shift from a reference field sequentiality and a reference phase by comparing respectively the field sequentiality of an input color video signal and the phase of a carrier chrominance signal with those of the reference signal. CONSTITUTION:A color video signal applied to an input terminal 1 is written in a frame memory 2 and two color video signals R1, R2 having different timing are outputted. One signal R2 is delayed at a 2nH delay circuit 4 and fed to a circuit 7 inverting the phase of the chrominance carrier signal by frame correlation and circuit 8 detecting the movement of a screen together with the other signal R1. Further, the signal R1 is applied to a circuit 6 inverting the phase of the carrier chrominance signal by line correlation. The ratio of synthesis of a synthesis circuit 9 is controlled so that the ratio of the output signal from a phase inverting circuit 6 is large when the movement of the screen is rapid and the ratio of the output signal from the phase inverting circuit 7 is large when the movement is not rapid.
