<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily cope with changes of transmission protocol of image processing information for a printer engine, and to simplify the configuration of an information processing control program. <P>SOLUTION: The image processing control program configures independently a sequence processing part P20 (application program), which is configured as a host application program in an operation system P1 and allows a CPU to transmit the image processing information to the operation system P1 side with a higher-order protocol used in the image processing controller side, and a protocol conversion driver part P10 which is configured as a driver program added to a kernel program P11 in the operation system P1 and allows the CPU to transmit, to a printer engine 7 side, the image processing information transmitted from the sequence processing part P20 side by converting into a lower-order protocol corresponding to the printer engine 7. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
