<p>The method involves determining or capturing gas pressure (p) reigning in each cylinder of an internal combustion engine. Gas masses (mL) are determined using the gas pressures. A comparison value is formed from the gas masses and the value is compared with another comparison value obtained, from a signal provided by an air mass sensor, independent of the masses. An independent claim is also included for an internal combustion engine of a motor vehicle comprising a regulation and/or control installation.</p> |
