In a device for parting bones from the meat attached thereto, the bones are pressed by a piston (3) inside a pressing chamber (4). The height of the wall (8) of the pressing chamber, provided with openings (9) for the passage of the mass of meat reduced to a pulp, can be adjusted by the pressing piston (3) in order to seal the top of the pressing chamber (4) against the abutment (7). For that purpose, the pressing piston is surrounded by a pulling ring (28) that pushes the wall (8) of the pressing chamber in front of itself during the lift stroke of the pressing piston (3). The axial movement of the wall (8) of the pressing chamber is limited by stops (36, 37). |
