<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excellent method for regenerating a reduction catalyst to be used when (alkylamino)diphenylamines are produced by reacting aminodiphenylamines, nitrodiphenylamines or nitrosodiphenylamines with ketone in the presence of hydrogen. <P>SOLUTION: The reduction catalyst is regenerated by bringing the reduction catalyst used in the above-mentioned reaction into contact with an inorganic acid.
