PURPOSE:To obtain the title cosmetic containing fine emulsified particles and prepared by thoroughly mixing skim milk powder with a polyhydric alcohol, adding an oil to the resultant solution to form a homogeneous gel and adding water thereto. CONSTITUTION:An oil-in-water type emulsified cosmetic obtained by dissolving (A) skim milk powder, preferably with >=95% milk solid content and <=5% moisture content in (B) a polyhydric alcohol, e.g., (poly)alkylene glycols, (poly) glycerols, alcohols or saccharides, at <=3 weight ratio (A/B) while heating, slowly adding an oil (e.g., hydrocarbons, animal or vegetable oils or higher alcohols) in an amount of 10 times based on the total amount of the components (A) and (B) while stirring to provide a gelatinous emulsified composition containing the oily phase component dispersed as fine particles in the polyhydric alcohol and adding water thereto. The above-mentioned gelatinous emulsified composition can be directly utilized as emollient jelly, massage cream or cleansing jelly for cosmetics. |
