The invention relates to a guide probe for stenting of the small intestine which can be used in the surgical treatment of ileus of the small intestine. It is the object of the invention to provide a guide probe having satisfactory guiding and sliding properties and is very compatible with the body. According to the invention, the guide probe is completely made of a material that can be dissolved in the intestinal juice and absorbed. The guide probe constitutes an integral casting which comprises a probe shaft and a probe head at its distal end. In the proximal end-piece of the probe shaft a probe channel is axially arranged for reception of a tube. <IMAGE>
