The equipment used comprises a warp accommodating device, a process-controlled unit controlling the warp and colour applicator movement through a colouring zone, and selection of colour and form in accordance with a specific predetermined data-programmed pattern, and a fixing zone for the applied colour. A controlled device takes up the warp after pattern application, and the data programme contains instructions with regard to the required pattern which gives limits for variables. Using such limits as control valves, the movement pattern for the colour applicator is activated in a non-predetermined combination of movements and adjustments of colour in the applicator, and movement speed of the warp through the colouring zone. The colour applicator comprises a spray mouthpiece moveable in its height width and longitudinal directions in relation to the warp, and is mounted on several moveable beams and or on a tool holder on a multi-axis industrial robot. |
