PURPOSE:To do without a special reserve tank and make the whole compact, by connecting a pressure regulating tank which absorbs the amount of a volume change accompanying the temperature change of a cooling liquid, to the circulation route of the cooling liquid connecting a radiator with a liquid-cooled engine. CONSTITUTION:A liquid-tight connection between a radiator 30 and the cylinder 10 of an engine 4 is made by means of the circulation route 32 of a cooling liquid. In this instance, a cooling liquid pump 33 whose purpose is to circulate the cooling liquid, and a pressure regulating tank 34 which absorbs the amount of a volume change based upon the temperature change of the cooling liquid, are provided at the middle way of the circulation route 32. And the pressure regulating tank 34 is constituted with a cylindrical tank main body 35 and caps 37 fitted to the both end opening portions of this tank main body 35. And also, the tank main body 35 is constituted with a rubber-like elastic body, and made to expand into a balloon shape by the pressure of the cooling liquid due to the rising of temperature. |
