PURPOSE: To modify driving conditions between a motor joint and a seal sleeve and between shafts by causing a drive sleeve to transmit torque between a drive shaft and the joint, and causing an extension sleeve to transmit axial thrust to the seal sleeve. CONSTITUTION: An extension sleeve 58 is axially placed between a drive shaft 22 and a motor joint 42 and a means for making a reliable driving connection between the extension sleeve 58 and a seal sleeve 18 is provided. Also, a drive sleeve 60 is axially placed between the seal shaft 22 and the joint 42 and surrounded by the extension sleeve 58, and a means for making a reliable driving connection between the drive sleeve 60 and the seal sleeve 18 is provided. Further, a means for making a reliable driving connection between the drive sleeve 60 and the motor joint 42 is provided. The drive sleeve 60 transmits torque between the seal shaft 22 and the motor shaft 42 and the extension sleeve 58 transmits an axial thrust force to the seal sleeve 18. |
