<p>PURPOSE:To speed and smoothen clutch connection by controlling clutch speed while judging clutch modes whether connection or release through a clutch stroke position obtained by integrating an actual clutch speed estimated value. CONSTITUTION:In an electric control unit 27, actual clutch speed wherein operational delay of a clutch 3 is taken into consideration is estimated from a target clutch speed for driving an actuator (DC motor) 8, and integrated to compute a clutch stroke position. It is thus judged whether the clutch 3 is under a connection or a release mode, thereby the clutch speed is optimally controlled. The release of the clutch 3 at the time of deceleration is detected by means of a rotational sensor 22 through a rapid decrease of engine speed, and the computed value of a clutch stroke position at the time of release is amended to be a predetermined value to always make the computed value agree with an actual value. A stroke sensor is thus disused.</p> |
