<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate a manually binding work by rotating part of a sheath of an automatically binding apparatus in cooperation with the movement of binding means to a retracting position when a binding work is performed in a manual mode as a guide of a sheet material. CONSTITUTION:When a manually binding work is conducted, binding means R is released from the engagement with an automatically binding apparatus B, rotated clockwise on a fulcrum 75 to move to a retracting position. Simultaneously, an auxiliary guide cover 79 of a part of a sheath of the apparatus B is rotated upward on a fulcrum 82, its guide face is aligned to upper and lower support members 52, 56 for supporting and opening a resin ring 6. The cover 79 is utilized as a placing base or guide of a sheet material 2, manually inserted to the opened ring 6, opened and bound. Thus, the manually binding work can be easily and stably performed.</p> |
