TREATING AGENT FOR SYNTHETIC FIBER

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain the subject treating agent giving multifilament having excellent converging ability with oiling to synthetic fiber in spinning or drawing process containing esterified matter of alkylene oxide adduct of specific amine and polycarboxylic acid. CONSTITUTION:2-100mol alkylene oxide, e.g. 2-4C alkylene oxide is added to amine having two or more active hydrogen, preferably 1-30C monoalkylamine and resultant adduct and polycarboxylic acid, preferably dicarboxylic acid containing >=20 total carbon number (suitable example: dimer acid obtained by dimerization of unsaturated aliphatic carboxylic acid such as linoleic acid) are esterified to obtain a treating agent for synthetic fiber making possible to rationalize manufacturing process of synthetic fiber. Said treating oil is applied to synthetic fiber in an amount of about 0.03-2g per 100g fiber in spinning or drawing process of synthetic fiber and dripping of scum and wearing of reed are reduced, then converging property is exhibited and woven fabric of high quality level is obtained.
