<p>PURPOSE:To surely and stably place the bundle of hollow-fiber membranes in a honeycomb tube and to facilitate maintenance by setting a holder at the corner of the upper end of the honeycomb tube and fixing many hollow-fiber membranes with the upper end opened to a suction pipe laid in the holder. CONSTITUTION:The triangular holder 14 is set at the corner of the upper end of the honeycomb tube 13, and the suction pipe 15 is laid therein and branched into three branch pipes 15a. The hollow-fiber membrane 16 with the upper end opened is fixed to the branch pipe 15a, and the bundled hollow-fiber membranes 16 are idly suspended in the surrounding honeycomb tube 13. A suction device 18 communicates with the pipe 15 in the holder 14, the pressure in the membrane 16 is reduced, and only the liq. part of a liq. mixture freed from solid matter, microbes, viruses, etc., is permeated into the membrane 16 and separated from solid.</p> |
