摘要 PURPOSE:To regenerate chelate resin for adsorbing fluorine, by a method wherein said chelate resin having fluorine adsorbed therewith is treated with a mineral acid and/or alkali to elute and recover fluorine while the treated chelate resin is contacted with a metal ion for forming a complex compound along with fluorine. CONSTITUTION:The matrix of chelate resin is constituted from epoxy resin and an amino acid group is provided as a chelate forming group bonded to said resin matrix. Thus bonded chelate forming group is adsorbed with an iron ion as a metal ion of a metal forming a complex compound along with a fluorine ion. After thus constituted fluorine adsorbing chelate resin is adsorbed with fluorine, the fluorine adsorbed resin is brought into contact with 0.5-4N mineral acid or an aqueous alkali solution alone or both of them separately in an amount of 1-6 times on the basis the resin amount to elute fluorine. Thereafter, the treated chelate resin is contacted with an aqueous solution containing the metal compound for forming the complex compound along with the fluorine ion or a solution mixture obtained by adding a mineral acid or alkali to said solution to regenerate the chelate resin.
