PURPOSE:To obtain a desired image in a marker editing mode by providing a marking decision means for deciding a coordinate which is a longer one as the effective coordinate of a linear mark and a control means for controlling an image editing means so that editing in accordance with the set marker editing mode may be performed. CONSTITUTION:In the marker editing mode, a CPU 54 takes an area which is decided based on the effective coordinate of the 1st and the 2nd linear marks decided by the marking decision circuit 52 as a trimming area and the image data of the trimming area is stored in a memory 55. At the same time, blank lamp data for erasing the image in an area other than the trimming area is calculated and outputted to a blank lamp driving circuit 53 so as to drive a blank lamp 18. Even when the 1st and the 2nd linear marks are put on the document with a thick line, an editing area is properly set and the desired image is obtained in the marker editing mode. |
