<p>PURPOSE:To prevent collision between an upper end of a guide post and a cassette lid by a method wherein a pressure lever is provided on a side wall of a cassette holder and the pressure lever is forced to press a lock button of the cassette lid to open the cassette lid partially. CONSTITUTION:With the further insertion of a cassette 3, pressing between a first pressure lever 1 and a lock button 5 ends. In stead, a second pressure lever 2 presses the button 5 to release an opening/closing lock of a cassette lid 3a continuously. With the release of the opening/closing lock of the lid 3a, a lid lower part 3f abuts an opening/closing cam to open the lid 3a. In this manner, the lid 3a is opened partially in the course of operation of inserting the cassette 3 into a cassette holder 4. This eliminates collision of the lid lower part 3f with a guide post 10 thereby allowing the miniaturization of a VTR with a reduction in interval dimensions between a magnetic tape and the guide post 10.</p> |
