摘要 PURPOSE: To enhance a printing density by inclining a print head in an advancing direction of a carriage at a predetermined angle and disposing it. CONSTITUTION: An angleθformed between a vertical line (a) to a platen 4 and a print head 2 is positive in a direction of moving the carriage and negative in its reverse direction. A printing density becomes high substantially proportional to a magnitude of the angleθof the head 2. Particularly, it is highest nearθ=20 degrees. When a voltage application time to the head 2 is between 1 msec to 1.5 msec, a relatively stable printing density is obtained. When the angleθbecomes negative, the density is lowered. In the case of a multi-head, to simplify a head assembly and to simplify a printing control, head ends are desirably aligned longitudinally in one row. In the case of an ultrasonic vibration printer, to prevent an attenuation of the vibration, a printing wire cannot be deflected. Disposing anglesθ1,θ2 of the heads 2, 3 are disposed so as not to become negative. In this case, the anglesθ1,θ2 of the heads are dispose not to become negative. In this case, the anglesθ1,θ2 of the heads are desirably disposed in a range ofθ1, 2=0 to 20 degrees.
