PURPOSE:To eliminate the manual operation to trace the cardiac wall and to allow the diagnosis of the heart infarct from one sheet of image in real time by providing a filtering means which selectively takes only the Doppler frequencies of the cardiac wall out of the ultrasonic Doppler reception frequencies reflecting the movement of the cardiac wall and the blood in a filter section. CONSTITUTION:The unnecessary fixed reflection signals from the blood, etc., exclusive of the cardiac wall are removed by using a moving target indicating device(MTI) in the filter section 21 from the Doppler signals from a phase detecting section 20. The filter section 21 freely selects the cut-off frequency of the MTI, efficiently detects the heart muscle Doppler signals in the ultrasonic beam direction and sends the signals to a frequency analyzing section 22. The analyzing section 22 calculates the average Doppler frequencies and dispersion values at the respective points of the heart muscles and sends the same to a DSC section 23 for CFM. A memory synthesizing section 18 superposes the image signals of a B mode and a CFM mode and sends the signals to a display device 19. The color display which color codes the heart muscles approaching a probe 11 and the heart muscles parting therefrom is displayed in superposition on the B mode tomographic image in real time. |
