PURPOSE:To continuously measure the relative position of upper and lower molds during operation by attaching a displacement detector to the rising and falling upper mold to measure the displacement of the upper mold to the lower mold in a horizontal direction and counting a displacement abnormality signal showing that the detected value exceeds a tolerance value and generating an alarm when the count number reaches a predetermined number. CONSTITUTION:A displacement detector 12 is arranged on a guide bracket 3 and always detects the relation of the X- and Y-axis directions of a guide rail Z at the time of the rising/falling of an upper mold 8 to measure the positional relation with a lower mold 9. A comparison control part detects an abnormal state when an upper mold position displacement signal is shifted from a tolerance value within the position control and detection range at the time of the low speed falling operation of a press. This displacement abnormality signal is counted and, when the count number reaches a predetermined number, an alarm is emitted. By this constitution, the positional relation of the upper mold 8 to the lower mold 9 can be always grasped and the emission of the alarm due to a single abnormality signal can be excluded. |
