PURPOSE:To provide a printer capable of printing by shifting the d-rive-timing of each recording element of a printer head with simple construction. CONSTITUTION:Drive-timing information in each of a plurality of blocks of a print head is stored in a latch circuit 11, and a system clock 300 being adequately short relative to the drive-timing of each nozzle is calculated by a counter 10. The measured value of the counter 10 and drive-timing information stored in the latch circuit 11 are compared by a bank of comparators, and by raising up or down a heat enabling signals through timing at which they correspond to each other, printing is carried out by driving as a plurality of nozzles are divided into a plurality of blocks. |
