发明名称 METHOD FOR IMPARTING SUPERPLASTICITY TO CERAMIC PARTICLE REINFORCED MAGNESIUM-BASE COMPOSITE MATERIAL BY MOLTEN METAL STIRRING METHOD
摘要 PURPOSE: To enable the development of superplasticity of an Mg-base composite material by extrusion by producing the composite material contg. a specified amt. of reinforcing material selected from among TiC, AlN, Si3 N4 and TiB2 having specified particle size by a molten metal stirring method. CONSTITUTION: One or more kinds among TiC particles, AlN particles, Si3 N4 particles and TiB2 particles having <=15μm particle size are used as a reinforcing material, and one or more kinds among Mg alloys of Mg-Al series, Mg-Zn series, Mg-Zn-Zr series and Mg-Li series are used as a matrix to produce a composite material by a molten metal stirring method so as to regulate the volume content of the reinforcing particles to 5 to 40%. This composite material is extruded at 200 to 500 deg.C and >=10 extrusion ratio to develop its superplasticity. Or it is rolled to develop the superplasticity.
