PURPOSE: To prevent the generation of cracks on a glazed surface of a cement in the production of a glazed cement product by forming a specific cement material, applying a glaze layer to the surface and subjecting the product to prescribed treatments. CONSTITUTION: This glazed cement product having a glaze layer on the surface is produced by forming a cement material, applying a glaze layer to the surface of the formed cement, baking the product to obtain a formed cement having a finished glaze layer and again curing and hardening the product. The cement material to be used in the above process is produced by kneading a cement (e.g. normal Portland cement), aggregate (e.g. shale-based aggregate) and an inorganic fibrous material (e.g. wollastonite). The amount of the inorganic fibrous material is preferably 1-14 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. of the cement. |
