PURPOSE: To obtain the composition capable of enhancing the percutaneous absorption of specific compounds to hold their high effects, and simultaneously having an effect to improve skin qualities (gloss, skin texture, etc.,), and skin- ageing phenomena such as fine wrinkles by the keratin-desquamating action, keratin turnover-promoting action, skin cell reproduction-promoting action, wound-healing action, etc., of a 2-8C hydroxycarboxylic acid and/or its salt. CONSTITUTION: A composition for skin external preparations contains at least one kind of compound selected from the group of pantothenic acid, its salt, pantothenic acid derivatives and their salts, and at least one kind of compound selected from 2-8C hydroxycarboxylic acids such as glycolic acid, lactic acid, malic acid, tartaric acid, citric acid, isocitric acid and salicylic acid and their salts. |
