FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: this can be used in degassing of coal-rock mass through bore-holes or blast holes at underground mining operations. According to method, created in section of bore-hole which is subject to sealing by means of interval-by-interval oriented hydraulic fracture are fissures which are filled with hardening compound for formation of airtight screen in rock mass which surrounds bore-hole. Usable as hardening compounds are water solutions of gel formation compounds. After filling of fissures, bore-hole is encased and sealing unit is installed. Creation of aforesaid airtight screens improves reliability of sealing degassing wells and reduces air inleaking in them. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 1 cl, 1 dwge
