METHOD OF BIOLOGICALLY INDICATING AIR MEDIUM POLLUTION

FIELD: environmental control. SUBSTANCE: method is intended to reveal and estimate man-made pollution of atmosphere air and consists in determining resident staphylococci bacteria carrying in primary-school children. Value determined in a zone under examination is compared to similar one in background zone and, if their ratio exceeds 3, air medium in examined zone is declared polluted. Resident staphylococci bacteria carrying is judged of from existence of persistent characteristics in stains of goldish and epidermal staphylococci isolated out of mucous membrane of anterior part of nose, and, as background value, value of resident staphylococci bacteria carrying is chosen equal to 8.1%.
