FIELD: shipbuilding; designing high-pressure portlights. SUBSTANCE: high-pressure portlight includes hemispherical glass cap fitted in holder by means of cover and screws; it is provided with taper washer laid between lateral surface of glass cap and taper lateral surface of holder; taper washer is axially movable. Maximum axial displacement of washer is limited by circular projection on holder which is located above contact surface of glass cap and holder. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 1 dwgo
