FIELD: automotive industry; instrument panels with relay-and-fuse wiring unit. SUBSTANCE: instrument panel 1 has hole closed by cover 3 in its lower part. Wiring unit 4 is installed on this cover. Wiring unit 4 is installed inside panel 1 at larger side 8 of cover 3. Cover is made L-shaped by means of projections 14 made on cover and side projections 7 of unit housing 6. Space can be formed between housing 6 of wiring unit 4 and larger side 8 of cover 3 for fitting connector 19 of wire bundle 20 located inside panel 1. Cover 3 is hinge - connected by free edge of larger side 8 with edge of hole on lower part of panel 1. Spring damper 21 is provided for smooth locking of cover 3 with fitted-in unit 4 in hinged down position. Spring damper is installed between lower part of panel 1 and cover 3. EFFECT: facilitated use of instrument panel with fitted-in wiring unit, enhanced reliability of unit operation and its mounting on instrument panel. 5 cl, 2 dwgh
