METHOD OF MAKING BEARING RACES

FIELD: machine engineering, namely manufacture of roll bearing races. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of preliminarily shaping rings of predetermined set of bearings, quenching them, grinding and plastically deforming. Then rings whose dimensions differ from those of rings of said set are flanged, subjected to cold plastic deformation and shaped up to dimensions of rings of previous set of bearings after their preliminary shaping. Such rings are quenched and ground. Method allows to receive suitable races for previous set of bearings from rejected races of given set. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency.
