PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the easily manufacturable optical compensation film having high quality. SOLUTION: This film is formed from a liquid crystal high polymer composition composed of a terminal modified liquid crystal high polymer provided with a unifunctional structure unit for indication optically positive uniaxial and the liquid crystal high polymer indicating a logarithmic viscosity (dl/g) measured at density 50 g/dl and at 30 deg.C in phenol/1,1,2,2-tetrachloroethane (60/40 (wt.%)) mixed solvent 0.01 higher than the terminal modified liquid crystal high polymer and a glass transfer point higher r>=5 deg.C and indicating the optically positive uniaxial. Nematic hybrid orientation formed in the liquid crystal state of the liquid crystal high polymer composition is fixed. |
